I am honored you are here. I am Yvone Christiana, experienced Actor, Comedian, Jazz Vocalist-Song Stylist. No stranger to the business-been here a “moment’ as they say. As a native New Yorker, I started in the arts as a young child taking dance and acting lessons, performing In plays, concerts and recitals, Fast forward, Life happened, so happy it did, with Love, Marriage, Family. In the early 1990’s I was offered the wonderful opportunity and pleasure to join and tour with the original “Shirelles”, 50’s girl group as an alternate.
From there I ventured to South Florida where I lived and performed for 15 years in theatre, film, t.v. commercials, and jazz venues. I also worked with a company called “Past Thyme Productions” performing one woman shows portraying Black Historical characters, Ana Jai Kingsley and Mary Fields aka “Stagecoach Mary”. I traveled to elementary,, junior and high schools and detention centers. The children enjoyed the show so that they flooded the company with letters of gratitude as they learned some history and gained a role model to fuel their dreams and future aspirations.
